14th Joint Multidisciplinary Research Conference (14JMRC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam

The Ascendens Asia Group and Singapore Institute of Multidisciplinary Professions, together with Southern Luzon State University and Beyond Books Publication, held the 14JMRC at Center for Politics Training of No3 Ward, No. 39, Tran Quoc Thao, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. Highlighting the theme “Capacity-Building towards Realisation of Sustainable Development Goals”, professionals from different institutions from Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Philippines were in attendance.

The 14JMRC featured societal-contributing research works of remarkable professionals. Dr. Joanna Paula A. Ellaga, Dean of College of Administration, Business, Hospitality and Accountancy of Southern Luzon State University and Dr. Nguyen Van Si, President of Institute of Human Recourse Management of Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam gave the welcome address and opening remarks.

This was followed by the presentations of three prominent speakers namely Prof. Tran Luu Hung, Vice-Dean of Student and International Affairs, Thai Nguyen University – International School, with his presentation titled “The Role of Thai Nguyen University in Sustainable Development;” FDr. Dr. Athena Georgene Ang, CBMEx, SFRICEO, President, Royal Institution, Singapore, with her presentation titled “Global Trends and Best Practices for Business: Towards Capacity Building and Sustainable Development;” and; Dr. Matrose P. Galarion, OIC, Chief, Policy, Planning and Research Division, Department of Education Region III, Philippines, with her presentation titled “Understanding New Research Perspectives in the Lens of the Philippine Basic Education Situation.”

The highlight of the conference was the presentation of more than 70 research works from different institutions. Best research paper was awarded to Daniel T. Dizon for his paper titled “Relationship of Mental Health Stigma and Help-seeking behaviour of College Students.”

All abstracts of accepted and presented research papers for this conference shall be digitally published in the “Ascendens Asia Journal of Multidisciplinary Research Conference Proceedings | ISSN 2529-7902″ indexed by National Library of Singapore, Ascendens Asia Research Index, and PKP Index. Ascendens Asia Group and Singapore Institute of Multidisciplinary Professions started this initiative of providing a platform for research enthusiasts to present their research works and engage them in intelligent discussions with other participants.
