Manila, Philippines – Ascendens Asia Group (AAG), Singapore Institute of Multidisciplinary Professions (SIMP) and Bestlink College of the Philippines (BCP) held its 1st Joint Multidisciplinary Research Festival (1MRF BCP) at Bestlink College of the Philippines last 04 – 08 March 2019. The said research festival gathered more than 1000 research paper from senior high school and college students of BCP.
The 1MRF BCP created an opportunity to all senior high school and college students to present their research paper not only to their own schoolmates but also to participants of nearby institutions. Oral presentation of best papers from different SHS strands and college courses were presented during the five-day festival.
Among more than 1000 research presenters, four outstanding presenters were recognised as Best Research Presenter of the festival. The four following students and their research title are as follows:
Mr. Anjo Dave Boyoten, “Customary Laws Implemented and Practices by the Native Tribes of Igorot at the Cordillera Region: An Emerging Guide”
Ms. Francheska M. Galang, “Factors Affecting the Academic Behaviour of Grade 12 ABM Students in a Secondary Institution”
Ms. Camille R. Sonoron, “A Proposed Subway Metro as a Public Transportation in Metro Manila”
Mr. Jairus Ecat, “The Developmental Stage of Office Procedure in Human Resource and Quality Assurance, Research and Development”
The awarded students will be presenting their research paper in the 9th Joint Multidisciplinary Research Conference to be held in Singapore on 17 – 19 May 2019.
MRFs’ noble intent is to provide platform for senior high school and college students to present their research works and engage them in intelligent discussions with other participants. MRFs also aim to extend opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals during poster-dialogue presentation as they talk about timely and relevant topics.
